With its rugged style, this watch fits the bill for any extreme adventurer. The timepiece has a shock resistant construction, from the stainless steel case to the screw in, double security gasket crown. Also, a tough and resilient sapphire crystal glass is used with anti-reflective coating to prevent it from the glare of the sun. In terms of the dial, a map of the Arctic circle can be seen which focuses into the capital of Iceland. Also, you can find coordinates on the dial of 64-08-17N, 21-55-43W which points to the ICE-SAR headquarters in Reykjavik. Replacing the 12 o'clock index is the ever present Luminox logo in which is where the inspiration for the colour scheme of the dial comes from. The rest of the indexes come in both a 12 and 24 hour format to meet the needs of both suitors.
