The Presage Craftsmanship Series celebrates the Japanese āTakumiā ā timepieces which are individually handcrafted by master artisans combining Seikoās latest watchmaking techniques with centuries of traditional artistry.
Creating each individual porcelain watch dial involves great skill and patience through a multi-stage process with several phases of firing. This porcelain is used within high-strength, three-dimensional dials, made by master craftsman Hiroyuki Hashiguchi and his team in in Arita, Japan where porcelain has been made since 1830.
