The Case:
The Sekonda Classic 1635 is a striking looking timepiece, as its circular case is made from brushed stainless steel, which gives it a distinctive bold appearance. The case measures 42mm in diameter and it is completed by the addition of a crown guard that accentuates the smooth curved dimensions of the watch. The crown guard protects a push/pull crown. Mineral glass is used which provides the watch with protection against scratches and shattering.
The Dial:
The white dial retains a simplistic layout, which ensures that it can be easily read whilst also bestowing the watch with a classic feel. Large black Arabic numeral hour markers form the analogical 12-hour display. Around the dial's outermost edge is a 60-minute track, which allows for a more accurate reading of the time. A small date-display window is located in the inside of the 3 oāclock marker. An alpha style handset occupies the centre of the dial, it is presented in silver and it has been bevelled which enables the light to glisten off of the hands.
The Bracelet:
The stainless steel bracelet is fashioned in a 3-link oyster style. It features a combination of finishes, with the outer two links being polished and the inner link being brushed. The bracelet fastens through the use of fold over deployment clasp.
The Functions:
Japanese made quartz mechanisms power this timepiece, ensuring that it remains reliable and accurate. It has a water resistance rating of 100 metres, which means it can be worn when snorkelling.
